Painting
"What fascinates me most about oil painting is that you can touch an oil painting, the visible brushstroke, it doesn't have to hide behind glass, it's like a piece of jewelry."
Fascination
During his time in Canada, Harry Brunner made the acquaintance of a group of local artists who introduced him to oil painting. A wild bunch, living among paint tubes in their small studios, giving Brunner the opportunity to experiment with brush and paint himself. In the following decades, oil painting became a great passion for the artist, alongside goldsmithing and sculpture.

"Painting is life. Painting is emotion.
I like it when you can see individual brushstrokes in paintings."
